Position Overview

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Logistics Engineer to join our dynamic team of professional engineers. The Logistics Engineer will request property tags upon receipt of equipment and placing them on the appropriate equipment and inputting initial record into the Property Business System (PBS).

Primary responsibilities

They will perform physical inventories and update the Property Business System as necessary. Additional responsibilities include documenting equipment movement within PBS and ensuring assets are sent to calibration and maintenance as appropriate in a timely manner; arranging for disposal of surplus or obsolete equipment; supporting Government and internal property audits and inventory efforts to the extent of locating property and explaining retention requirements; supporting the preparation of loss reports by providing root cause and corrective actions; maintaining Factory Infrastructure hardware gold copy inventories; responsible for fidelity and management of spares plan and associated CDRLs; Identifying and managing Factory Infrastructure hardware End-of-Service (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) milestones, maintenance support timeframes, and licensing renewal dates; and fulfilling Factory Infrastructure Property Custodian Roles & Responsibilities (R&Rs) for the Enterprise and liaison for Property Management Group

Minimum Qualifications

- Experience with property management and custodial procedures, practices, and tools

- Experience preparing for and supporting government property audits

- Experience with common office tools and software such as MS Office, Sharepoint, and use of property database/tracking/inventory systems

Bachelors in a STEM or related field. Practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
