Position Overview

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team of professional Engineers.

The Chief Systems Engineer should have experience with modeling and simulation frameworks and will be responsible for systems engineering, architecture, design, algorithm and methods development, integration test and formal requirements verification for program activities. The SE will assess competing technical solutions and perform trades to determine best path forward for the program.

Primary Responsibilities

The CSE will perform tasks and be involved in all phases of the systems engineering process including requirements definition, design, development, test, and demonstration during each release and iteration. They will work with end users to understand mission scenarios and perform defect analysis. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the team to work through roadblocks to resolve issues quickly.

Minimum Qualifications

- Knowledge and experience of current and emerging Space Control capabilities

- Knowledge of RF and EW domains

- Familiarity with Agile development environments

- Experience with modeling and simulation frameworks

- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools

- Experience with requirements definition, design, development, test, and demonstration

Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with trade studies to guide selection of components to

ensure requirement satisfaction. Develop/assess course of

action alternatives in project development/product delivery.

- Ability to perform risk analysis, including identifying and assessing project risks. Develop and execute risk mitigation plans and management of risks on projects.

- Ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify failure causes and develop resolutions.

- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, ability to interact with a cross functional team and act as customer interface for technical aspects.

- Demonstrated self-starter - efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent tasks

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related discipline and minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree in a STEM related discipline and minimum of 12 years of prior related experience or equivalent
