Position Overview

Infinity is seeking a System Administrator (SA to provide Level 2 Sustainment support of the ground system components used for the Enhanced Polar System Control and Planning Segment (EPS-CAPS) sustainment mission operations at Schriever Space Force Base, CO providing space-enabled, secure communications capabilities to polar users in support of national objectives. EPS CAPS provides telemetry and control, mission planning and cryptographic planning for the EPS payload.

Primary Responsibilities

1)Providing backup support to the operations and sustainment of the ground system to include application servers, database servers, workstations, secure data/voice/video networks and data backup/archival library.

2)Supporting the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of ground system software patches and releases, maintaining the system Authority to Operate (ATO) via Security Technical Information Guides (STIG), performing standard systems administration and hardware sustainment tasks.

3)The SA supports segment and system level testing and operations, provides risk assessments, trend analysis and provides recommended solutions to System Engineering and is also responsible for providing current system status to the Site Manager.

4)Provides periodic on-call 24/7 support

Minimum Qualifications

- Experience in three or more of the following: VMWare/ESXI, Solaris 10/11, Active Directory, IDS/IPS Firewall, Cisco IOS, EMC Storage, IP networks and RHEL Systems Administration.

- Experience supporting real-time operations, and the ground hardware and software involved with mission operations.

- Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and configuration standards for DOD IA and IA-enabled devices/systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Splunk dashboards and queries

- Experience in hardware failure analysis, reporting and presentation to non-technical personnel

- Experience in technical writing and support to design reviews

Bachelor’s Degree in Network Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer H/W or S/W Engineering or related technical degree

5 Years of technical experience in a related field are acceptable in lieu of a degree.
