Software Integration SME [2022-155]

NISSC II



Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Software Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the NISSC II contract. Your career at Infinity enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

The Software Integration - SME is responsible for developing strategic procedures and upgrades, improving network infrastructures, and managing systems configuration. The software integration SME analyzes the system's operation and its efficiency to support mission-capable functions and deliverables. They also maintain the safety and security of the networks, ensuring its accuracy and smooth navigation for operational use, especially preventing unauthorized access and the software operates in a predictive manner. A software integration SME must have excellent knowledge of the technology industry and the latest trends, as well as a strong command of programming languages and system codes.

Typical Duties Include:

Educating the organization and clients about the system and hardware integration procedure, implementation, and use.

Handling a broad range of software and other programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.

Defining integration strategies and methods and then planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules

Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals

Required Skills:

Installing/Provisioning/Troubleshooting complex Enterprise software

Integration of COTS/GOTS/FOSS hardware and software into existing infrastructures

Complete documentation, drawings, and instructions for customers



Desired Experience:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Significant relevant experience in supporting the sustainment of NISSC mission systems/subsystems. Experience with other relevant missions surrounding the NORAD/NORTHCOM, Air and Space missile and legacy Space.

Experience working in scaled Agile environment frameworks such as SAFe.

Significant experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise networks


Bachelor's degree in a related scientific, or engineering discipline. Additional work experience can be substituted for formal degree.

10+ years of progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications. DoD 8570 IAT II certification is required.
