Hardware Integration Engineer / Sr Computer Hardware Engineer [2022-153]


Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to support the NISSC II contract. Your career at Infinity enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

The Hardware Integration Engineer or System Integration Engineers, concentrate on all aspects of a computer system. Their responsibility is to ensure that the software, hardware, and a network of the systems work optimally and securely. Engineers resolve issues related to systems to improve their performance. They create and document visual descriptions of systems and their inputs and outputs.

Typical Duties Include:

Evaluate modified systems to ensure that they meet the standards of our organization

Understand the needs of the end-users and offer them technical support

Evaluate problems with major systems, such as VMware, Cisco, Servers, configurations, storage, etc

May deploy out to customer sites and upgrade systems to support new capabilities

Maintain a documentation cadence that supports the technical specifications of hardware upgrade programs

Required Skills:

Installing/Provisioning/Troubleshooting Enterprise network devices

Integration of COTS/GOTS/FOSS hardware and software into existing infrastructures

Complete documentation, drawings, and instructions for customers

Desired Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Significant relevant experience in supporting the sustainment of NISSC mission systems/subsystems.

Experience working in scaled Agile environment frameworks such as SAFe.

Significant experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise networks.

Bachelor's degree in a related scientific, or engineering discipline. Additional work experience can be substituted for formal degree.

10+ years of progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications.
