Summary of Responsibilities:

The Assistant Site Manager shall be the secondary representative and have full authority to act on matters pertaining to the performance of services under this contract during absences of the Site Manager.

Have the appropriate technical and managerial experience and be knowledgeable in all facets of the work performed, working on site a minimum of 40 hours/week each at the Lago Patria Communication Facility.


• Meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) qualification requirements.

• Possess a minimum of five (5) months of documented (as part of the resume) formal training in SHF, EHF or UHF satellite earth terminal operations and maintenance, either from military service schools or from accredited college/commercial educational sources.

• Possess a minimum of five (5) years total experience, within the last 12 years, in SHF, EHF and/or UHF satellite earth terminal system operation and maintenance;

• Possess four (4) years’ experience, within the last twelve (12) years, in SHF, EHF and/or UHF satellite earth terminal site management, administration, and supervision of personnel operating, maintaining and providing logistical support to an SHF, EHF or UHF facility of similar size and mission including;

• Planning, scheduling, and supervision of day-to-day activities of employees, contract compliance, facility security, COMSEC management, contingency planning (e.g. natural disasters, civil disturbances, power outages, and bomb threats), Cyber Security, and administration/oversight of Quality Control and 3M programs;

• Execution of low-level engineering required to plan/implement DISA Telecommunications Service Requests (TSR) and Telecommunications Service Orders, assist with programmed installations and upgrades, as well as routine/emergent station wiring, cabling, and configuration changes.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related IT field; relevant work experience can be used to substitute formal education.

12 years of industry-related experience, with at least 5 years of SHF, EHF and/or UHF satellite earth terminal system operation and maintenance;
