The Space Command Digital Integrated Network (SDIN) Technical Refresh project team will perform both sustainment activities and coordinate installations and equipment replacements of Red SDIN, Black SDIN and SDIN optical network equipment. The equipment includes, but is not limited to network routers, switches, Circuit-to-Packet (CTP) devices, SONET and other optical network equipment located at ~30 CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The primary duty of the Scheduler is to provide scheduling and logistics support for the SDIN tech refresh project, develop and deliver the project Master Schedule and schedule all relative actions required to support installation. The Scheduler will coordinate with users to request Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and gain government approvals required for each installation. The Scheduler will track and monitor all shipping, schedule installs and ensure all ASIs are in place for installations.


Need to have basic technical knowledge of network/transport and become familiar with and carry out Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) process and procedures. Must be very organized.

High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience. Bachelor degree preferred. However, military training and at least (4) years of directly related experience may substitute. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
